Fine Little Day

Inspired by the landscape of Scandinavia and in particular the west coast of Sweden, Fine Little Day started out as a blog by artist and photographer Elisabeth Dunker in Gothenburg, Sweden. It didn't take long before snap shots from Elisabeth’s daily life, walks in nature, flee finds and more were loved by readers all over the world. The blog has been featured in renowned publications and blogs over the years and nominated as one of the worlds best photo- and design blogs by Times Magazine in 2010. In collaboration with Swedish publisher “Natur and Kultur”, the world of Fine Little Day turned into a book in 2015, which has been published in Japan, Korea and the United Kingdom.

In addition to the blog, Fine Little Day has grown to become a worldwide design company, defined by its sprawling and happily unpredictable design. The ambition is to create and offer high quality interior design and crafts collections for young-at-heart minds. Discovering and spreading the word about art, design and people who inspire us has been a part of Fine Little Day’s mission since the start. We use our platform to let some of our favourite people and friends shine in our artist collaborations. Collaborations include work with Sofia Lind who’s inspiring wall art has become prints and embroideries on textiles. The collection includes a wonderful range of cushions and throws, kitchen- and tabletop textiles, trays, ceramics, stationary and posters and some fashion accessories. Fine Little Day also produce and sell fabrics by the metre. All products are characterised by its simple aesthetics, expressive patterns and cheerfulness.

Fine Little Day use natural, sustainable and organic materials as much as possible. The collections are developed to fulfil excellent quality in all aspects of the production; gentle on the environment, the people who work hard in the production and anyone enjoying the final collection. The collections carry many certifications such as Oeko-TEX 100 for textiles and FSC for all the posters and stationary products. All the collections are designed in the studio in the old mill and factory building, “Spinneriet” just south of Gothenburg, lead by Creative Director and Designer Elisabeth Dunker and Ulrika E. Engberg.

The collections are available at Fine Little Day web shop, through retailers world wide, and in the store located in the studio at Spinneriet just south of Gothenburg.
